VENT

VENT was inspired by a simple phrase my sister and I often shared: "Do you have a few minutes? I just need to vent." Those conversations became a safe place where we could talk openly, support one another, and know we would never be judged. After losing my sister, I realized how many people are carrying heavy burdens without someone who truly understands or simply listens. VENT was created to provide that same safe and compassionate space for parents and individuals with loved ones involved in the criminal justice system. Sometimes people don't need advice—they just need someone who will listen, understand, and remind them they are not alone.
VENT is that place. It's a virtual, judgment-free space where you can talk honestly about parenting stress, school issues, family conflict, or the weight of having someone you love in jail, prison, or on supervision. We listen, reflect back what we're hearing, and share insight from years working inside the justice system and alongside families-not as therapists, but as real people who understand how complicated this can get.
You can come to VENT for a single session after a crisis call from the school, or stay connected through ongoing individual or small-group options. Many parents tell us it's the first time they've felt believed instead of blamed.
You don't have to carry it alone. Sometimes you just need someone who truly gets it and will hold space while you catch your breath.
